There is a core truth ... (Hexagram 61)

... that we all know; each of us has a truth that is woven into our bones, flows through every cell, and reminds us that the heart is more than a muscular pump ...

You may rest in the assurance
that there is one inner bastion,
the citadel of the spirit, which
is absolutely unassailable.

~ attributed to Jesus

It is wordless, this truth; we experience it rather than think it. It is not a truth that the mind can concoct ... but the mind can delve into it and try to fathom it ... Its depth rises, ever up into consciousness ... Know me, it says ...

... How do you know your core truth?

I'm not sure. Certainly a question to ponder.

Somedays one can just feel something indomitable holding it all together when all of the pieces are flying apart, on those days I know myself to be fundamentally OK. And sometimes I see a glimmer in something I have made, a sense, a feeling, a glimpse from the corner of my eye that vanishes as I turn, but having felt the shadow pass me I can remain grounded in that knowing.

Deb ... such beautiful words :-) ... Today is one of those days here: we have a windstorm happening ... winds gusting up to 90 km. ...

... things *do* come together ... the center *does* hold ... :-)
