It is wordless, this truth; we experience it rather than think it. It is not a truth that the mind can concoct ... but the mind can delve into it and try to fathom it ... Its depth rises, ever up into consciousness ... Know me, it says ...

Somedays one can just feel something indomitable holding it all together when all of the pieces are flying apart, on those days I know myself to be fundamentally OK. And sometimes I see a glimmer in something I have made, a sense, a feeling, a glimpse from the corner of my eye that vanishes as I turn, but having felt the shadow pass me I can remain grounded in that knowing.
